and what´s so conflicting about it is that, as you said, you want to like it, but i just can´t bring myself to see the good sides of it... also what pisses me off is that they even put the actress of beth in similar red clothes! I mean they could have at least thought about that a bit... also i just don´t think the chemistry between emmett and ellie is nearly as good as the one from broadchurch... ellie doesn´t feel like ellie anymore and I loved the original ellie so that´s disappointing too..

I noticed that about the clothes, and even some of the blocking of the scenes was similar.What even?

Another thing that’s bothering me is we have Hardy’s character renamed as Emmett Carver, but why didn’t they rename Ellie??

ok so i think we´re both of the same opinion and think it´s pointless to remake it.. and i´m just sooo extremely disappointed and angry that some people even thought that it was necessary to remake a perfect show just cause they wanted to make money in the us too... and i normally don´t get angry and all emotional in the inboxes of ppl i never talked to but look what gracepoint has done!! I just hope that the second episode will be better.. tho i doubt it

I am with you completely! I just it’s like you said gracepoint: what’s the pont, it a perfect tag. Feel free to rant away, because I understand exactly where you are coming from. I want to like it, and I mean I really WANT to, but the more i think about it the more it bothers me! I am with you I hope that the second episode is better, I hope I am wrong and and it is not Broadchuch with an alternate ending, but currently I’m not that optimistic about it!

I gotta say I instantly liked Ten, so it was not hard for me to start shipping them pretty soon. TCI with all the flirt, the Chritsmas dinner… By New Earth and Tooth and Claw I was definitely a shipper. I mean, the two characters were made for shippers!

12. if you could add one (1) ten/rose scene to canon, what would it be?

Big surprise: Ten somehow acknowledging his feelings, one way or the other, but something subtle at least (like I don’t know he would have gone as far as saying the three words). But not the half sentences we got, because god damn it, it does need saying! Although, in all honesty, having that and then getting Journey’s End… ugh So I guess I would be ok with at least some more dialogue and interaction during Journey’s End. I mean, she’s spent years trying to get back, he’s been missing her and what do we get?

16. would you rather hang out with rose in the TARDIS or ten in london?

Good lord, that’s a hard one! Imagine being in the Tardis! But then, Ten… I’d get half a day with Ten and half a day with Rose in the Tardis hehe
