I'm watching Tentacles and all I can think about during one scene is the person who said white people look like raw chicken when they having sex. They were not wrong.
Also, Casey said I'm going to give the girls what they want. Fucking. Lots of it.
There is a lot going on in the plot. Too much if you will.
This movie is a great example of 'Listen to black women'. Eight minutes in Esther tells him, "flip it. . . turn it [his parents house] into a photo studio. Replace the bad memories with some good", so he can work on his art while also doing their real estate business, so he doesn't have to stress about income. He acts like what she said was so offensive to his character. In comes white Tara Parrish, a stranger with more secrets than personality, saying the same thing but with a white face and Sam thinks it's the most wonderful suggestion he's ever heard, he tells her "no one has ever cared about me the way you do. . . really seen me". Bitch! Esther has been your best friend through all of it, your garbage fire of a father, your mother dying, everything. She's been right there. Created a whole business and brought you in because she saw you were spiraling into alcoholism and depression, but this random white girl you've known for a few months sees you?!?! Sam got what he deserved. He gets no sympathy from me.
