Just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone who’s followed this blog and for all the support so far. It means a great deal to me, so thank you!

I’m in the process of creating the scripts for the first few issues, doing studies and tweaking character designs and so forth. I can’t give you a date for when the first comic pages will be ready, but in the meantime I’ll keep updating with sketches and information about Avery and his world.

What I can tell you is that:

Railroad Blues will be free to read online and ad-free

It will be released online per issue, rather than a per-page webcomic format

It’ll be in full-colour and hand-lettered

I’d recommend the comic for ages 16 and up, there will be blood and some suggestive scenes but nothing terribly graphic

There will be cowboys, horses, gunslingers, monsters, a cute dog, a diverse cast of characters, sheriffs and outlaws, and TRAINS!!
