It was around noon, the usual time Ten'yu took his breaks. Training had been tough today, and he was relieved to kick back and relax. As usual he sat by the creek with his food in his lap, taking little nibbles of the muffin he baked himself as he lost himself in thought.
It was at this time as well when he thought about what he'd do after the war. He often dreamed of owning his own bakery, probably by the ocean. After the war had ended he wanted to live the easy and care-free life he always wanted. It wasn't really his choice to be drafted into this mess after all, it was his father's decision after the death of his mom and he couldn't go against him at the time.
He still remained hopeful, though. He was generally an optimistic person, although shy. He couldn't help but smile at the thought as he ate, wistful memories of when he was younger and still had the same dreams flooding over him.
