I liked this close up shot because it felt particularly vulnerable and emotional. The documentary really captures the human element in a very capitalistic factory setting that prioritizes output and efficiency.

I liked the colors of the blonde and pink against the factory setting. Something about the combination makes for interesting cognitive dissonance.

The dance at the celebration felt a bit ironic to me, with the neon suits looking very futuristic and robotic but also human at the same time.

The sound of the glass falling into the pile feels symbolic and indicates how tumultuous Fuyao's state of affairs is.

I thought this was such a poignant and human moment for Naomi to reach out to Coco not only as a fellow athlete but as a sort of mentor, even though Naomi herself is quite young. It transcended norms and conventions for a game of tennis.

The perspective in this shot really shows how young and small Naomi and her sister were when they used to play tennis as kids. I also just liked the composition and pops of color.

I thought this shot was beautiful; Naomi looks pensive and is being introspective about what she wants for her own life outside of her identity as a tennis player. Here she is wearing a traditional kimono, embracing her Japanese identity, so there's also an external representation of considering her identity beyond her doing some introspective thinking.

It feels very full circle for the album art for Illmatic to be portrait of Nas as a young child, as he sees himself, like he did for the assignment in elementary school.

Giving his respects at the end of the song, about living for what others did not get to experience, feels like a sense of closure for Nas.

I like the contrast in this photo and that it is very vivid although monochromatic; it conveys how hardcore the cooking process is for creating the goat stew.

I like the complementary colors here and how poignant it feels as a moment of emotion. She describes feeling the greatest disappointment of her life when the construction people did not pay her and shuts the door, which feels like a very symbolic and intentional scene aligned to the narrative.

I like how powerful her connection is to the sea and how it is a source for her to renew her strength. She describes losing her mother and her going to the sea in her mother's memory is very powerful.

I like the composition and contrasting colors in this shot, as well as the exposure.
