oh i didnt know you rbed the interaction post. anyways while i KNOW it wouldnt go well i can't help wondering what would happen if you put Rian and nmc!bran in the same room without syn's supervision. Also curious about teo and banni (a disaster certainly) and Cal and Banni (as someone who might be a more calming presence lol)

i think rian and nmc!bran HIGHLY depends on the context did creadha somehow procure him from syn? did he somehow escape on his own/realise things weren't great? rian isn't *wholley* an asshole, he holds some value in people who drag themselves out of a bad situation for something better, and hates people who simply give in to poor treatment/don't realise it it's why he enjoys his job as court torturer, he gets to find peoples limits and where they break, he tends to hold a lot more respect for the ones who fight back [which is why he has a weird thing with Sinigh, though i wouldn't really call it 'respect' because theres other things going on for them] so, if bran ended up with creadha, and rian was assigned to interrogate him on the why/how and properly initiate him, rian's disposition to him is going to be very different if he's bratty about it, or quietly goes along with it. i'd probably place them in a tense 'oh, you left a shit situation too, you're somewhere better now as long as you don't fucking cry about it' situation the bit of rian's backstory thats a bit overshadowed by his involvement with creadha is that he's the reason creadha is even alive at all, he took a lot of abuse to keep creadha safe and he's tough as nails as a result of it but very maladjusted in dealing with people who aren't like he is as well :') if it were more a case of bran and rian being in the same room at a nmc group party, rian wouldn't pay any attention to him at all, he tends to hate gatherings like that and actively avoids everyone x) with teo and banni, i think if banni can dismiss that teo is a bit of a mess [physically and in terms of his living space] they'd find a very apt friend with benefits who is probably always down to clown :V teo is fun to hang out with in small doses and more respectful than most initially realise [he runs his mouth but stops if he's told 'hey maybe don't do that' since he finds it hard to parse where the verbal limit is with people! i think teo would have a fun time trying to make banni laugh though :3 with cal, i think he would be SO scared of accidentally hurting banni, like. this is a massive charr and his handclaws are probably longer than banni's forearm BUT he's also used to a human partner and humans are squishy and easily hurt, so he's plenty capable of being a soft touch :) I think he would treat banni with all the care of a large bodybuilder trying to pick up one of those tiny fluffy dogs that become a tenth of their size when introduced to water lol [cal would also be down to assist with banni's libido since his thing with des is open, but i imagine he'd take some convincing that it was okay and even physically possible!! i think outside of that, he would happily offer his shoulders for banni to get a good view of an activity they were both at though :)
