I recently listened to the podcast version of The Edge of Sleep and I’m forever changed. I love it sm and need other people to listen to it because I could yap abt it for hours. So teos (especially Dave n Linda) is entering my drawing rotation. Although even tho imma draw with the podcast’s storyline in mind, I’ll stick with the show designs.

Scene redraws from the podcast. I genuinely love their friendship sm. They just work so well together. I think abt their conversation in Dave’s car a lot.

Also Felix mention!! I needed one “character with very little showtime that I’d take a bullet for”. Since he isn’t in the show (or if he was he definitely was not nearly as relevant) I sorta just made a design up. Idk why but I was very set on him having a white hair streak.

Dave, internally: I like her. She’s so fucking weird. She either isn’t aware or doesn’t care and both are cool.

dave always correcting Matteo whenever he gets a word wrong but never being agitated with him about it

matteo immediately getting the first aid kit when dave got hurt from his sleeping disorder and standing up for dave at the party, not being afraid to throw hands

Just their dynamic together is *chef kiss*

Dave putting his faith in linda and believing in her

linda having general concern (that goes past a healthcare worker) for the group, making sure their all staying awake, keeping matteo from having flashbacks, etc

Not to mention matteo finding linda’s bossiness kinda attractive

katie being pissy with linda abt the whole ‘let dave sleep for 2 mins to see whats up’ debacle and her responding with ‘it’s a date’
