The Gates of Truth have stood at the center of Atlor for as long as anybody can remember. They are a deity–a gift from the Gods–and they control the world around, such as the different never-ending seasons in the country’s different cities. They also can provide gifts of powers or knowledge. But the Gates aren’t a force to be reckoned with. While they gift the country’s residents, there is sometimes a price that none know of or they could be responsible for the spread of a disease. But is the outcome worth the risk?
