i just wanna post some of my favorite music from this summer. i don’t know why, but here we go!

PUNCH BROTHERS—

1. like it’s going out of style— not only do i relate to the lyrics, but i’m absolutely in love with how gentle this song is.

2. patchwork girlfriend— such a unique energy this song brings!! it could stop me from crying even on the worst days.

3. hundred dollars— do i need to explain

4. the blind leaving the blind— mvt 4– holy crap. the musicality and precision they have to have to get all of the cogs moving in this movement makes it my favorite by far.

5. you are— this song is so.. sexy?? and spiteful. and gorgeous. i don’t get it but i want to

6. rye whiskey— not only a classic but has appeared in three of my dreams this past month. how weird!

7. next to the trash— it’s so fun to sing along.

8. magnet— i think i scream this one the loudest in the car. so catchy, and leaves you wanting more.

TRASHDOG—

1. literally the entirety of dipshitticus, AND

2. apologize to the rice. i’m so grateful one of my favorite people ended up showing me two of my favorite bands lol

1. missing poster— god it’s so catchy!!

2. back off— bud brings such an interesting energy to the music he performs, i love him so much.

1. i wanna know— oh my god, what a great summer song.

1. trash generator— gives me the energy to be angry. inspires my hatred

2. surf nazis— so good. love the rhythms in this one

3. melody nine— it’s nice to listen to. reminds me of a shooting star.
