"M… Madoka?"

This was… admittedly not the best time for a reunion, as the wounded Homura’s expression would probably reveal. Caught off guard by a witch that was unnervingly powerful, she’d just only managed to escape without life-threatening injury, the grief seed still laying discarded near her feet. 

That hair, the height, her voice… It seemed so different, as if time had passed between them. Two years, it had been since she had surpassed that neverending maze.

It seemed the timestream wouldn’t let her forget that much. 

"Ah…Forgive me, Kaname-san. I’m a mess…"

"Homura-chan, we're well past you calling me by my last name. Did you forget that we've dated? And don't apologize, there's really nothing to be sorry for." She smiled warmly and knelt to the girl. "Here, let me help you." She picked up the grief seed, handing it to Homura and stand back up. "I'm not the best healer, but I can do something." She concentrated, a pink light surrounding Homura. "That should help some." Homura still had wounds, but they looked better. "I could call Sayaka-chan to heal you completely." She took her phone out of her pocket, looking at Homura as if to ask her if that was what she wanted.
