Beijing Guoan Terminates Burak Yilmaz Contract

Chinese club Beijing Guoan have agreed with Burak Yilmaz to terminate his current contract at the club. The Turkish player will move back to Turkey and will be signed by Trabzonspor.

The first transfer request from the Turkish club was rejected by Beijing Guoan. The team from Beijing didn’t want to let go of Burak Yilmaz since he is a very important player for The club. Burak Yilmaz stated: “I really want to stay at Beijing Guoan but I have no choice because of family reasons.” The Turkish player has two kids in Turkey and if he would stay in China, the outcome could be that he will lose custody over his children. Therefore Beijing Guoan agreed to terminate his contract and allow Burak Yilmaz to head back to Turkey.

On 22 February 2016 Burak Yilmaz moved from Galatasaray to Beijing Guoan. In this period the forward had a noteworthy record of 31 matches played, 19 goals and 6 assists.
