BIGGEST PET PEEVE. WHEN PEOPLE CALL CONALL ARTHUR AND ITS OBVIOUS ITS BC THEY DIDNT READ MY RULES OR ABOUT.

lord. lemme tell you. back on the old blog, it happened so fucking much. like?? i had to constantly drop threads because it was such a major problem. like wow u cant take 2 seconds to fucking. read my sidebar even.

and when id correct people theyd get mad??? like fam dont get mad because you cant read an about lol.

so yeah. thats probably the biggest thing thatll make me drop it. because ive worked too god damn hard on conall for the fact that hes his own person to be dismissed :’)

yes!! he did!! bc conall was an egotistical douchebag!!

seriously tho..he was The Worst. he knew that he held a lot of the world in his hands, and he figured people ought to be afraid of him. he had the largest navy, the best army, 1/5 of the worlds population under him and 1/4 of its land. 

so the first time hes referred to as a ‘fearsome ruler’ hes like...hell yeah i am. you better remember that. or ill destroy you(◕‿◕✿) 

he was cocky and way too confident in himself, so honestly that only boosted his massive ego..smh.

nowadays though, hes a lot more humble. because he has nothing. hes only alive because fate has allowed it. he looks back on himself back then and hes like ‘why didnt i fall a lot sooner’ because he was just so damn sure of himself!! even when the blitz in wwii tore london apart and left him bedridden he was still so confident that the empire would prevail.

so yeah..conall was really into it during the empire, but now hes just...no..stop..not anymore..

um. lol oh geeze. i guess for the most part theyre civil. conall isnt really fond of his immediate siblings (i.e. scotland, ireland, northern ireland, wales, arthur too). and theyre not fond of him bc..gestures at..years of oppression lmao. 

but i mean family is family and hed do anything for them, regardless of the fact that he thinks theyre a pain hA

STORY TIME!!!!

Manuel learned to read at the end of the 17th century, not because he wanted to, but rather because he was forced to. In the 18th century there was a huge impact due to the Illustration era, since european books (french and english books, to be more specific) started to get smuggled into America without the Spanish King’s knowledge. It was cool because it was then when Manuel started reading out of pleasure rather than duty. The new stories about freedom and all that caused a big impact in him, and all these foreign things were really interesting to him.

So yes, Manuel is a good reader, has been since the 18th century, but he doesn’t have much time to do it, really, specially nowadays. 

Fun fact: Chile has the highest book tax IN THE WORLD!! AWESOME!! WOW!!! Its 19% tax and it sucks. So expensive. A paperback book will cost you around 12.000 CLP, which is, roughly 20 dollars, while a hardback book will cost about 20.000 CLP, which is roughly 27-30 dollars.
