And while we seem to have survived the cold, New York City is on edge with the coronavirus beginning to affect us directly. For the record, I had mine days before Gwyneth Paltrow posted herself in the same damn mask en route to Paris. Paris? I’m staying right here at home in Brooklyn with Orpheus, practicing social distancing, working on my blog — and playing with all kinds of cool skincare products. Even though winter in the City this year wasn’t as excruciating as it usually is, I still needed to switch up my skin care to keep my face from drying out in the moderate cold. And one of the very few things I love about cold of any kind is a good facial oil! As winter has waned, I’ve been on the hunt for lighter formulas.
