Trying a new style

I’m doing this because someone accidentally planted the idea in my head to order custom keychains, and I’m trying to practice this style so I can hopefully get around to ordering some of characters that either don’t have much merch, or my own ocs

(In order of attempts: Jean-Paul Valley, Azrael, Jack Marston, Nausicaä, my oc Ajax, my oc Orion)

I have never drawn foxes before, and I spent so long trying to figure out the lineart. I like how it turned out though

I can't render, and I've been spending too long trying to figure out how to do it, so I'm going to go back and do it when I figure it out... maybe.

I will admit that I used a base thing, because I'm shit at posing and mid-exam week. I only did this piece because I was sick and had an overabundance of angst creativity/motivation thanks to my pain and suffering. Anyway, I'll probably redo this one sometime in the future when I fully understand how posing works, and have more time on my hands.

I'm open for advice and tips for rendering and doing shadows/adding depth, because right now, I don't know what I'm doing.
