Which one of your star wars ocs would be the one to try and catch a weird small animal from every planet to pet it?
TERRAL
She keeps trying to adopt strays even though being a Jedi means no pets (limited space at the temple, traveling a lot for missions, possessions are supposed to be few and just the bare essentials)
I'm drinking and thinking about how gay I am, so the only logical thing to do was to write about Terral doing the exact same thing.
Terral, drinking just to know what it feels like, not realizing she has the lowest tolerance imaginable.
Terral, miserable and wasted, laying face down on the floor of her master's room, rambling about how cute some girl she saw was, crying just a little. She says her heart hurts sometimes when she sees a pretty girl. Kit simply nods and treats the conversation as seriously as he would were Terral sober.
He hands her a canteen of water and advises her to drink it. She obeys, because her master always knows best.
Terral, falling asleep right there on the floor like the child she is. Kit laughs quietly and tosses a blanket over her, putting his own robe under her head as a makeshift pillow.

Owen:-decides working for a criminal mastermind is a great way to support his sister-allows little sister to be in regular contact with dangerous criminals-won’t let Maddie adopt a pet even though she promises to take good care of it (cites money reasons, which are true, but GIVE MADDIE A DOG)-nearly pisses himself at the mere suggestion of Batman being nearby; is therefore the worst at being a henchman-perpetually running on 3 hours of sleep yet still operates a shitty moped as if he isn’t going to get himself killed doing so-forgot his own birthday
Terral:-tries to adopt every stray animal (and some children) that she meets-fantasizes about kissing pretty girls even though Jedi are forbidden from having relationships-accidentally broke the bracelet her master gave her and couldn’t find all of the beads, still sometimes cries about it despite being an adult-sometimes accepts gifts/rewards if nobody is looking
The beads Terral wears on her braids were originally part of a bracelet given to her as a gift from Kit Fisto on her 13th birthday, as part of the Padawan birthday ritual.
The bracelet broke during a mission, and she could not salvage all of the beads. She decided that putting them on the braids on either side of her face would be an acceptable way to keep them close.
The beads are made of small healing crystals, which individually are not enough to heal much of anything, but as a whole bracelet would do enough to keep Terral moving in an emergency. (For this reason, as well as sentimentality, she greatly regrets not being able to locate all of the beads)
forgive any formatting issues, this is all on mobile
Terral is not there when Kit turns around. Of course. This is not necessarily a common occurrence, but it has happened before.
The Nautolan Jedi retraces his steps, searching for his wayward Padawan.
He finds her kneeling in an alleyway, her back to him, gaze focused on something on the ground. For a moment he worries something may be wrong.
He almost wishes something were wrong when Terral turns around.
The human, to her credit, at least attempts to look guilty as she cradles a mass of matted fur in her arms. Upon closer inspection it appears to be a small dog. Somehow, Kit is not surprised.
“No.” He says it before Terral can even open her mouth. He already knows what she is going to ask.
“Please? I’ll take good care of it! Look at the poor thing, it’s clear nobody’s claimed him.”
“We travel too much to keep pets. You know this, Padawan.” This is at least the fifth time they have had this exact conversation.
Terral gives her best attempt at puppy-dog eyes and a pout. Her Master lets out a laugh laced with warmth and shakes his head.
“Nice try, but the answer is still no. But if it will ease your mind, we can buy it something to eat before we go.”
Terral, my bubbly bright Jedi, so full of light she burns, too energetic, everywhere at once, a headache for her poor master who loves her dearly regardless of the heart attacks she seems intent on giving him.
Always smiling, always laughing. Bright eyes with a hint of mischief, lingering glances after pretty girls that her master pretends not to see for her sake. He talks to her about it in private later, gently teasing. She is, of course, mortified.
