Eyes on the Pies

Beast Boy entered the diner with a confident smirk. He may not visit Ben’s that often, but he’d returned enough times that his appearance no longer surprised the staff. Though he wouldn’t mind surprising them this time. After all, this was his first time back since he’d changed up his look. He was hoping to turn a few heads. Taller, stronger, new hair, new uniform; he was lookin’ good~

The changeling didn’t even need to open his mouth as he approached the counter. “Apple pie?” the woman behind the counter asked, already knowing the answer. Beast Boy nodded and took a seat. As he awaited his tasty treat, the bell above the diner door jingled. One of his pointed ears twitched at the noise and he turned to see a once familiar face. Terra... Or the person who used to be Terra. Beast Boy had long since let her go. The girl he wanted her to be was just a memory. He’d taken those words to heart. He had mourned her and moved forward with his life. That’s what he thought she wanted. Believing she wouldn’t want to interact with him, he was quick to avert his gaze to stare at the counter instead. He would just get his pie and leave. No need to cause any trouble. “C’mon, Beast Boy, eyes on the pies...” he muttered to himself. @terramade​

“ Well I can’t move rocks and stuff, but I can make things out of crystal and focus another’s energy blast through my crystal like a laser. “

Kole admitted with a smile before forming a crystal shard to hover over her open palm before she morphed it into a pair of goggles made purely out of crystal. When she was done morphing the crystal she offered them to the other as a welcome gift. She didn’t have a whole lotta time to meet with other titans due to still setting up a tower in the North, but she was glad to take the opportunity when it arose to visit Jump City to see how her friends were doing. However, what she didn’t expect was to meet an old friend of theirs, regardless she welcomed her fellow titan with open arms. Yet when inquired about her powers she was more than happy to showcase a minimal display of what she was capable of.

Everything went blurry after that hit. Starfire wasn’t even sure where she had been hit, but it had to have been a rather bad hit to knock her out so easily. She found the ground around herself lifted up, and then heard Terra speak to her. If she was okay, at first, then something about... about bringing her to safety, or something; and since it was so difficult to listen, Starfire started to space out on what her friend was saying. She must have done so visibly enough for Terra to notice, for soon Terra’s face came closer and a gentle shake brought her back to a more awake state. “Y-yes... I will try...” It couldn’t be so hard to keep a focus, right?
