wait wait wait did you put the plate into the acid bath with the plastic on? Did you role ground onto the plastic sheet? Was the plastic affected at all when you put it on the hot plate? I’ve never done that, so I’m really curious.

i didn't do any of that.

i realized the plastic was on when i finished etching and peeled it off.
