Someone with Aspergers here. You say there is no reason for allistics to reblog these posts. But what about the fact that, the people who need "awareness" raised about most are allistics? Let's say I was allistic right? So by reblogging these, I'm likely surrounded by allistic followers who will see that content and get edumacated. It's not autistic people who need awareness about their own damn disorder, WE ALREADY KNOW. It's albeism that awareness is necessary for.

the point of this blog is not to raise awareness. the point of this blog is for autistic people to share autistic feelings. raising awareness is a cool side-effect of autistic people talking about autism to each other. it's not the goal & it's not something we particularly prioritise.

not everything a marginalised group of people does has to be activism. not everything we do has to '''raise awareness'''. we are allowed to just exist, authentically, in a space we have created for that specific purpose. we are allowed to not want our oppressors in that space.

if you want posts about raising awareness, try an actual activist blog. autisticadvocacy is a good one.

You blatantly IGNORE the fact that the doctor clearly was refering to Sex. Apparently sex doesn't exist. The term Male and Female originally only meant sex, Gender is a RECENT concept relatively speaking. In fact, gender is completely imaginary.

Gender is a social construct, but that doesn't mean it's imaginary. It's a real thing that affects everyone, it just doesn't have a basis in physical reality.

Biological sex is also a social construct when applied to humans, because if you think about it there isn't a good way to biologically define 'male' and 'female' because intersex people exist and there's a ton a variation among physical/hormonal/chromosomal phenotypes. But I feel like that's not an argument that's going to go over all that well in this space. 

(Also I'm by no means an authority on any of this stuff being cis and not intersex)

Also I'd just like to point out, that nothing says Caliborn's growth is permanently stunted. It's possible, in fact inevitable... that he will still interact with his sister in the future and whatnot. I don't believe in permanent stunting. I believe stunting just means you paused on your growth, and you could continue at any time. Even in human biology, this is the case. It's why some people can end up growing later than others, etc.

I had already said I'm done arguing with you, and I'm not even going to begin to bother trying to dissect everything else you've sent to me, but this is something that's EASILY debunked just by reading the comic. Take this passage from a conversation between Andrew and Caliborn.

Also, consider this passage from the Wikipedia page on stunted growth.

So yes, is growth IS permanently stunted, and there are plenty of indications of that, including the actual definition of being stunted. He prematurely aborted what was a very important part of his physical and mental development, and so he'll never properly develop. Which, again, is an apt scenario to depict in a tale about growing up. Who better to make the villain than a character who not only refuses to grow up, but can't because of his own choices and actions? Not to say that they were well-informed choices, but he still made them, and he has no intention or desire to go back. And given all we know about his character, he almost definitely never will.

I don't normally go bitchin at people for liking something. I just find it so interesting that people go about liking something, without actually thinking about what it is they are "liking". Why the fuck did you like that post? They literally lacked any refutation, they mindlessly ranted about how they didn't have the energy. But they wrote out a message as long as it would've taken to give the refutation, but what did they do instead? They just babbled more bullshit about how they don't have the time nor energy HERPADERP.

That's really great but who are you and why did you feel the need to come to my inbox with this? What about my blog and what about my posts said "hey fuckface, come right on in and ramble nonsensically!"? I'm sorry to tell you this but I liked that post because I can do whatever the fuck I please on my blogging space. You don't even follow me and I don't follow you.

I get the impression that you're under the age of fifteen, and are thus unable to tell when people are done with you. I will now make it clear to you, child. 

Your arguments are so absurd they are not worth the energy I would have to invest in disproving them. You are so absurd you are not worth the energy I would have to expend to take you seriously at this point. You need to sit down, and examine your life, because otherwise you are going to find yourself very lonely and very unhappy in the fairly immediate future. People do not appreciate being told they are "brainwished," particularly when so much of our surrounding culture tells them that they are.

You are not brilliant. You are not special. Your ideas are not sudden or visionary or unique.

You are an asshole. You are spending an absurd amount of time and energy electing to be an asshole to strangers. I have been where you are. I have done the things you have done because I was angry and because I was scared. Presumably, you are doing these things because you are in a similar position. Get yourself away from internet message boards. Go talk to some people who are different from you- particularly women and people of faith. Listen to them.
