At some point, Terras' demons become too loud, to hard to control. He's completely unaware of what he's doing. He's gone on a complete rampage, destroying anyone in his path. That is, until Zaen tries to stop him. He's begging and pleading with him to stop. Finally, Terras gets to Zaen and starts attacking him. Zaen is able to fend him off for a while, but eventually he gets overpowered. Terras realizes what he's done once Zaen's dying in his arms. His last words are "I love you."

If My Muse Turned Evil

Worse: Terras cuts through his old students, Amos, Ilyana, and Nemphtyas; they thought his students would stop him, he loved them after all. He manages to beat his way through Imara, and Addy; because surely, he’d stop for his friends. Noitora goes easy on him because he knows, if he doesn’t hold back, he’ll kill Terras, and Terras rips through him like a wet paper towel.

And when his reign of carnage is done, when everyone has hesitated because it was him, it was Terras that was attacking them- he’s holding a body in his arms, and the last thing it says to him is; “I love you.”

"Terras! Terras, hug me!" Addy definitely completely totally absolutely positively is NOT hiding snowballs where he can't see them, and she's definitely completely totally absolutely positively NOT going to drop them down the back of his pants.

“Addy?” Terras quirks a brow, holding out his arms. He’s a little stunned she wants a hug, but who is he to deny her one? “Who am I now, Aavarii?” Him? Giving people hugs? Not unheard of, but he’s not ‘Dad’.

What is your muse’s weapon of choice? Is it magical or mundane in nature?

Terras uses a variety of weapons- or he can at least. Polearms, daggers, or glaives are easy for him to use, it’s just he prefers his flaming glaives over anything else. His glaives look relatively normal when they’re sheathed but when he pulls them out he lights em up usually. Since he’s a charhound and all.

Given a chance to learn and use a combat ability or magic they don’t possess, what would your muse choose?

Probably to be able to use his tail as defensively/offensively as his old student Noitora can. Terras’ tail (when metamorphosized, he doesn’t have one otherwise) is skeletal and while prehensile it isn’t really effective for anything other than looking cool.

Is your muse particularly merciless or do they leave their opponents relatively whole after a fight? Why?

Terras has never killed one of his trainees, but he does occasionally eat the demons he kills. It’s a rare (and disgusting) event. 

Usually he does this because he can grow reasonably stronger by consuming said demon, other times it really is just because he’s hungry. Demon form burns calories like nothing else, he’s gotta keep his strength up!

Does your muse have any regrets about a battle or incident they had to fight in? Has it changed them?

Yeah, he regrets letting his entire squad die and then himself. It’s changed him completely, driven him to alcoholism and has left his body with a scar right over his heart. His death has also given him a far amount of death anxiety since, for some reason, he can’t remember what happened while he was dead. Sometimes he doubts that he has an immortal soul like the rest of the Illidari.

Zaennicus had a myriad of hobbies, but one of his favourites was surprising unsuspecting demon hunters with his love and affection. He took a running head start and practically threw himself at Terras. "Hi, I love you!"

Terras was sort of minding his own business, debating on what techniques he should go through with Addy when he’s suddenly attacked from behind- wait, that’s not an attack. 

“AH! I love you too?!”

24. What was the first thing that attracted you about your partner?

Terras chuckles, scratching his cheek a bit. “My ex-husband was so gentle. He was kind.” He smiles, obviously thinking about times long gone. “But uh- my boyfriend and I had a chance meeting. He’s sweet, really cold though, like touching my icebox. It’s one of his charms.” Terras chuckles.
