As someone who suffers anxiety attacks, I am terrified of what police would do to me if I were arrested and experienced an attack. I’m a white, able-bodied, mostly neurotypical woman and I don’t trust police; I certainly don’t trust them to deal with anyone else with more intense mental issues, let alone BIPOC with them.
