I did not read the other books in this series,i got this book to review so I just started reading from book three,but I don’t think you have to read all of them to understand what is going on.From where I started it first talks about Morgan who struggles with infertility issue,her husband Johnathan is running for mayor so there is somewhat a political aspect,but not so much thankfully because that stuff personally boars me.They run Hanover house together which is a home for children that rehabilitates them while there under the states care,so much more than your typical foster home.Morgan reaches out to her husbands compilations wife Lisa who she has become friends with due to her own struggles with infertility,to only find out her dear friend is missing,they start to search for her and investigate her husband and work place,when they cannot find Lisa anywhere her work friends Rani seeks out help in some unique ways,she goes to a psychic and gets a reading,he claims to know where he body is so Rani takes the information to the police,of course the police are skeptical but the chief looks into it not expecting anything to pan out which it does.They find Lisa and unfortunately shes dead,but now they need to figure out why and whodunit. This is a great mystery book and will keep you guessing,if you want to find out who killed Lisa or if it was even a homicide read the book,i read that there’s a big plot twist so I can’t wait to finish the book,i left a little to read so that I wouldn’t know the killer as to not include any hints or spoilers.
