literally sat down last night and wrote the poem and brought up turtles and how I never see them anymore and I wake up this morning to a picture from my sister of an absolutely huge snapping turtle in our back yard and when I went out there to see it it was gone.

like come on. that was the fruition of poetry and I was so excited and then the poetry fruitioned even more and completely broke my heart
