Concepts I may turn into fics: once, in New York, Sherlock spends several days in a crowded tenement house for a case and comes back with lice. He’s all set to just cut all his hair off before it gets too bad, and Liam is so appalled at that idea that he proceeds to spend several hours working through Sherlock’s hair with vinegar and a fine-toothed comb. Then he does it again the next day, just to be sure. Then the next night he switches from the comb to just a regular brush, and within a week it’s become routine that Liam brushes Sherlock’s hair out before bed; it makes them both dozy and comfortable.
I sent my LGBT friend the stuff about confrimed Bubbline at 1:30 am a few minutes ago. I thought they’d see it by tomorrow, but they texted me back saying it was 1:30. Now, I thought this friend secretly hated me for some reasons earlier this year in marchish. I said I was sorry, and they said “your good dude”
That might seem like nothing, but someone doesn’t send that to someone they secretly hate. And that sounds foolish, but I believe it. It made me cry again and think that the people that I thought hated me forever didn’t hate me. That I wasn’t outcasted by them.
It made me realize one thing.
I’m not a terrible person
I’m not the terrible person I thought I was for 6 months. I can finally be done hating myself secretly. I can finally move on.

Hello and welcome to the new year! This is Late Night with Shanno Ayeeee~and we are going to kick this year off right, and after the sheer disappointment left behind with an accompanying horrible aftertaste, let's hope this year is better. But we aren't here to talk about the United States utter lack of any sense of decency. No, grab that glass, light one up, and settle in.
As much as I may want to weigh in with my opinion, on the airing of this nations dirty laundry and the complete humiliation that is our next president, I shall refrain. There are plenty of opinions out there and one more won't help, though let it not be said having an opinion is a bad thing, because it's not. But we have to remember just because it is an opinion does not mean that it is a fact. And opinion while unique as each person that has them is just that, only opinion. Public opinion does have a large amount of sway but opinions are not set in stone and can change so don’t let yourself be scared or forced into believing something that is not true. Keep in mind that facts and keep an open mind, that is the only way everyone can work together.
But enough about that: let's talk new year, new goals.
I’m sure you've all got your new years resolutions set and ready to go by now. What is it that you want to achieve this year? Eat healthier? Lose some weight? Enjoy life to the fullest? Spend less, save more? Get more organized? Spend more time with family and friends? Learn something new? Travel more? Read more? (I think this is literally the top ten listing haha.)
These are all good goals. Now, personally (before I go spouting my mouth off) I am not one for resolutions. "Why?" You ask? Well just like everyone else I've made my own fair share, but I've never completed them because I've usually set my sights too far and I can't accomplish my goal, or I'm just plain lazy. So I've found that if I can't do it any other time of the year then its not worth trying to make a resolution. Hey, but I'm me, and you are you. So, you do you.
If there is one thing I know its that different people are different and that’s a great thing. So if you can do that resolution thing! Work it!
Maybe I will create a new year's resolution. Ya'll curious? Haha what could it be that Shanno want to do especially after I literally expounded on all the reasons I don’t make them in the first place....Well I think I'd like to wear more dark lipstick.
I am a red girl a heart, I love red lipstick, I have so many shades from so many brands but they are all red. I recently got a dark purple to try and it is lovely and eye catching. Though my bffl recently shared with me a hysterical post, which I adored. "’that dark lipstick make you look intimidating’ the response: Good, stay the hell away from me."
Intimidating? I agree but in a good way. If you don’t have the guts to flirt with me when I'm at my most intimidating then you ain't worth my time chicken boy. Say that to my face ya limp noodle! Hahaha quoting Disney ftw.
It doesn't matter what is in, or what is considered fashionable. If you want to wear it, then wear it. Fuck all the rest. Life is what you make of it and if you spend all your time worrying about what other people think of every little thing you do you aren't going to enjoy life. Sure other people might think it's ugly but if you wear it and wear it with confidence, your brightness will shine through, and that’s what really matters.
So go out this year and make it your best year by being the best you yet. If that means completing your resolutions or just keep trucking then so be it.
Shanno has just one request for you. This is a new year, and perhaps you want to be a new you, but don't let that lead you into propagating the worst parts of humanity that deludes some people into thinking that they might be better than anyone else simply because of the way they were born, don't let prejudices rule your life. We all share this world together, and if we don't treat each other with respect the whole damn thing will blow up in our faces and we now live in a globalized world. Just because someone is different than you does not mean they are wrong, or inhuman. We should try to embrace each others differences this year. Learn more about the people you might be so "afraid" of that you never actually got to know them. Just because someone has a different skin color than you does not make them lesser, just because they speak a different language does not make them infiltrators, just because they practice a different religion does not make them evil, just because they have a different sexual orientation does not mean they are defective. Open your mind and realize the joy in our diversity.
Yes, don't make me out to be belittling the issues, there are bad things going on in the world today. Terrorist bombings, terrorist attacks, that shitstorm in Syria. There is bad shit happening but we have the power of change. If we open our hearts, just maybe we can make a change because fear will only sequester and divide us and divided we fall.
Goodnight.
I run a terrible blog, always have. I subscribe to everyone that posts a little funny post and then I just go through and reblog 200 posts in a row. My blog is a disaster zone. If you followed me i would flood ur dash with bullshit.
But I am comforted to know that many blog posts on here get 0 reboots . And also I never figured out how to use tags so what did I expect really
That first roll of new dice. So magical.

Night thoughts: Episode 1
I think touch is really important in honesty. In relationships and friendships and so on, anyone can say something convincingly. Even if they can't, they can come up with an excuse, "Sorry I'm tired" or whatever it is. Someone simply telling you something just isn't convincing. Yet, what else can they do? Love and caring and commitment aren't things that can be shown in numbers. Ten minutes with a stranger feels completely different from ten minutes with your best friend. So in the end, I would like to believe it comes down to what you show. Obviously everyone you meet will show it differently but learning those differences and appreciating them is how I know I don't have to say "I love you" everyday for them to know that they are loved or love me back. For me, I know that my friends are my friends because they give me great big hugs and warm smiles when they see me again. Even if it's not as often as it should be or more than once in a day, it's the same caring hug. You can fake words but you can't half ass a hug and get away with it. It's the way I can walk into a room and see smiles that reach they're eyes. It's how it feels like I never left. That's how I know people care about me. The second thing is actively making then following through with plans. And it's not so much the doing as it is knowing that you're worth their time and the effort to make time. That's how I know. If you're a friend that doesn't know if I care about you, know that I do these same things back. If you're not getting these signs, have you tried asking me? Or maybe even looking at the past couple interactions? I'm shy so if we just met, I might be pretty quiet for awhile longer, I warm up, I promise. Have we had a conversation recently? How'd that go? Did we make plans? Did we do them? That's what I value. So my question to you, is what do you value, dear reader? What convinces you that you're loved even when it's not said?
