Crowdsourcing shipping, connects people who need to send stuff with those travelling that way. Check out www.daiwu.ca

This is a great example of how the low barrier to table your idea can mean a truly terrible idea gets presented to the public.  This one is truly terrible.

So the basics of this is that the 'inventor' is proposing that he provides the hookup for travelers to take other people's stuff in their bags.  Staggeringly bad idea.

At least the fact that no one is backing this project means that it can also demonstrate the BENEFITS of crowdsourcing.  If you pitch terrible and poorly conceived ideas, and you believe your own spin, people still will not back them.

Terrible Kickstarter ideas: AQUA ELLIPTICA - the new generation of water fun sports

Our vision is to create a NEW WATER FUN SPORT that is a hybrid of a Paddleboard SUP and an Elliptical that will "Walk-on-Water"

As bad an idea as this is (and it is!), the notion that this could be used in the surf is staggeringly dangerous.  At least it will never go into production.
