This blog doesn't shame cosplay as far as I know and in actuality, this blog has done a decent job of outing art theft. I'm not one to take away credit where its due even from blogs like this.

However, its ruined by the amount of times they mock and insult people's art and OCs with little to no criticism and in the end it's just another one of these lame ass blogs perpetrating bullying.  

Seriously, if you wanna crit OCs or art or cosplay, make a blog where people submit to you rather than pointless mockery.

Sometimes i get sad and then i look at the terribleponies blog and realize that there are people in the world who trivialize everyone else and think they're actually above everyone and im happy again

So I had posted this picture that I had made of a pony OC to draw for my little sister and her character that I had made for her own personal enjoyment a while back on DeviantART since I thought I might as well sit on the outskirts of the community and see if there's anything interesting out of it. I'd been having to watch the series because of my sister anyway and thought "hey might as well enjoy it since I am."

Yet today I log on to find a person had commented wondering why this had been on something called "terrible ponies" since they liked it. That kinda threw me off since I didn't know what that meant so I Googled it and found my way to this Tumblr. I mean honestly, I thought this fandom was a lot better than having some trashy thing waiting to prey on artists who actually share their love of this show. There are so many out there who deny every single link to them liking this fandom because they don't want to get bullied yet within their own safe haven of opening to show their characters this happens.

Absolutely ridiculous. These are people's characters, do you not have any sense of shame of bashing something that someone put their heart into making? Who cares if it's different? There's obviously a lot more ponies out there in the series itself who do not all look the same so why should someone be restricted with what they want to make for their own personal character? It's not like people are trying to make their designs canon or claim that theirs is official in the series.

Just lay off all this bashing of each others designs. If someone wants to make a pony that has 6 legs and scales, who are you to stop them? It's their design. It doesn't affect you in any way. If someone wants to have an alicorn as their OC who should you even be to tell them they can't? I mean really if you don't like something that much just ignore it, what's the point in starting something when the only thing it'll do is hurt someone's feelings in the end? There isn't.

I don't think I'll be submitting to the group I had originally joined on DA for the fandom. I feel it's being preyed on by people running and/or submitting to the blog and would like to advise others to keep an eye out for it.
