♠ (For the sake of specifics, I'll say Crane)
♠: What’s one thing you dislike about your Muse?
The somewhat logical answer to this might be the fact that Jonny boy can be a massive hypocrite.
When I first started RPing him, he was your… ah, generic effed up antagonist who might or might not have Dissociative Identity Disorder. But later on, as I’ve got to RP him more and as I’ve improved as an RPer, he grew really complex to the point that he’s a mass payload of contradictions gone FUBAR.
I can’t really explain this in words right now. But, if I have to… it’s like… Jonathan was a fingerless glove that became one of those full gloves. And putting on that glove became a strange, if somewhat uncomfortable sensation at first which I grew to like because it was much fuller.
But, if I’ll be really, REALLY honest with myself, I don’t dislike anything about Jonathan Crane as a muse. With the exception, of course, for the usual writer’s problems where their muse refuses to cooperate in the writing process and what not. And he’s a hella’ lot stubborn when he doesn’t want to cooperate.
I absolutely adore writing for him. I like the ease and the difficulties, the complexities and the idiosyncrasies that come with my version of Jonathan Crane.
But, hm, this doesn’t really count as an answer, sort of? Um… ah… well… I dislike that I went the easy route and chose Cillian Murphy as his faceclaim when I moved over to live action faceclaims? I like how he’d portrayed Scarecrow in the films but… he doesn’t completely fit considering I grew up knowing Scarecrow through some of the comics and the BTAS version? But that’s a superficial dislike, I think.
