Bringing death had brought her joy for years now, or more so what felt like it. It was good to liberated from the restraints of such propriety. She was above it all now, there was no need to keep herself calm, no need to attempt to curb her appitite for the suffering of others. There was no need for any of it.
Darkened eyes scanned through the shadows, she could hear the sound of footsteps moving towards her. In all honesty, on a shadow filled evening such as this, most beings of demonic descent would’ve run, hidden away in their nooks and crannies. But she, she was testing fate. Perhaps she’d find herself face to face with a nephilim.
Perhaps she’d get to feast on more destruction yet. The idea was deliciously tempting. And she was still licking the taste of blood from her last kill from her fingers with twisted joy.
“Come out, come out, little hunter. I’d love to play.”
