Salvia is a wanderer! She cut ties with civilization and went out to rediscover life and find true insight on what it means to exist, only carrying the bare necessities with her. She's been around a long time and says at this point that she's forgotten where she's from but that it doesn't disturb her as she's already living in the present and that's the only thing that matters.
Faino is her familiar, but as both of them say, he does not belong to anyone but himself. She found him as an injured bird and took him under her care. Nowadays, he's a guide to Salvia, as she's lost her sense of vision over time. Being able to fly around, he's her only source of information on what's going on in the outside world. He's very protective and carries around a mandolin to play her music.
