Tom Duquesnoy takes tough decision over Terrion Ware
Not the walk in the park that we might have thought it was. Ware is one of the toughest guys at 135lbs. His durability makes up for a lot of his athletic and technical shortcomings. Against a guy like Duquesnoy who’s entire game is around making opponents wilt to his overwhelming offense, that could have been a route to victory. Duquesnoy didn’t look bad, per se, but the book might be out there on him. You can get rid of his mobility with a good kicking game because he’s so lead leg heavy, he’s there to be hit if you can weather the early storm, and he seems to be lacking in the pure strength category. Still, he managed to dig one out here with some great kicking of his own and good work with the hands and elbows.
