Resourcing impeccable quality in the vineyard is first and foremost in priority to produce "Wines of Distinction". Whether I'm sourcing fruit for a $15/bottle wine or a $100/bottle, if not growing your own, getting to know your growers and developing a relationship with them is by far the most important thing a winemaker could ever do.
