A little over 3 years ago I started this IG account to get reacquainted with the craft of wine, the different art forms I enjoy and to reconnect. As many of you know, after spending 11 years building a global impacting wine company, I had lost touch with many things that I realized were very important to me and had given my all to something that in the end, was not mine. This picture represents the first area I needed to reconnect with, something that I do own: the passion of winemaking. What begins with a single cut is the beginning of character in wine that is too often overlooked.. Over 10 billion hand pruned cuts are made each year in California vineyards by people who are almost never even talked about less recognized as significant to the wines we make.
