#jared harris #FRANCIS RAWDON MOIRA CROZIER #terroramc #terror rewatch #first shot a winner lads #it's not like I'd forgotten how amazing jared is in this episode in particular #BUT I HAD FORGOTTEN HOW AMAZING HE IS IN THIS #like from the start when you don't know how it's going to turn out #his acting is terrifyingly good #his physicality I mean he's drunk all the way through but in varying degrees and he gets it so right #and then when he's completely useless (and still drunk) in the sick bay trying to help blanky #and when he doesn't give a shit about anything other than how he can get his hands on james' booze #it's horrible and so fucking good #so when jared wins his emmy for chernobyl it will be one of those rare occasions #when someone wins an award the year AFTER they should have won an award #but he'll be winning it for something just as good (which usually isn't the case)#I mean everyone's amazing in the terror #and I love blanky with 100000% of my heart #but I think jared and tobias get the most to do in terms of character change and range of emotions #also the fact that the only thing that finally gets through to francis that he has to stop drinking #is that he nearly got blanky killed #is never gonna stop warming my heart because they my boyz #I have a lot of feelings about this show can you tell even on the second go round #my wee gifs #how does tiny trim sprite of joy jared make himself look like this solid ruin of a man HOW HOW #ACTING
