Wow, it seemed like forever since she had walked down these streets. 

After being stuck in the depths of the shadows for weeks, regaining power, even the streetlights seemed too bright for the demon. Her head hurt, and the more that annoyance grew, the more bloodthirsty the black-haired woman seemed to become. Every person she passed she had made a special death for them in her head, some more gruesome than others.

Finally, Janice spotted someone that looked worth the energy. He was off to the side of the street, seemingly too distracted by whatever he was thinking of to notice her staring.

He seemed almost familiar to her, which made her curiosity grow. Maybe she should go have a little fun, hm?
