Every Time Fred was a (Medical) Doctor
Are you taking new patients, Terry?
Terry Being a Great Dad
I 🧡 Terry
If he was my optometrist, I would have a hard time getting through the exam because I would just be staring at him.
First of all, I want to thank all of my readers for Rose-Colored Glasses reaching over 400 hits!!!
Oh my gosh!!! Ya'll are amazing! I didn't think my ol' Terry Berman fic would be so popular. But I guess it is. I'm glad ya'll like him as much as I do and agree that he deserves more love.
Also thank you for being so patient with me. I know my writing schedule has been hectic and unorganized and all over the place, but I promise that I'm gonna see this next chapter through.
I actually started to add on more to this chapter so hopefully I can get it out before the end of the week! 🤞🏾
Thank you again so much! Love ya'll!! 😘
As promised, here's a snippet from Chapter 7 of Rose-Colored Glasses.
This chapter is still being written and edited, but I hope to have it out before mid-September.🤞🏾
But until then, I hope you enjoy this little sneak peek...

Once he parked, he shuffled to the door and rang the doorbell. Quinn quickly answered it and he looked a bit panicked and anxious. Like he was having an anxiety attack, which worried his overly concerned father.
"Oh, Dad, there you are," he scoffed. "I thought you said you were close. What took you so long?"
"Quinn," Devon sternly said behind him. "Cut your father some slack. He was probably stuck in traffic."
"Right," he moaned in defeat. "Sorry, dad. It's just...I..."
He studdered more before Terry just hugged him tight.
"I know, I know. Just take your deep breaths. Did you take your anxiety medication?"
"I just made him take it," Devon said before Quinn moved out the way to let him into their home.
"Thank you, Devon," Terry said with smile.
"You're welcome," she said before she went to Lennon's room to grab him and his bags.
"Sorry, Lennon was taking another nap," Quinn explained. "It's gonna be fun waking him..."
Lennon immediately started crying.
"Up," Quinn finished.
"Oh, don't cry, Lenny," they heard Devon coo. "You're gonna see Paw'Paw."
"Paw'Paw!" he cheered.
"That's right...oh, you want to hold your Professor Knight doll?"
Lennon made a happy noise.
"Okay, you can hold him."
"Paw'Paw!"
Devon soon came back into the room holding Lennon in one hand while holding his diaper bag and toy bag in her other hand. Quinn immediately took the bags from her so she wouldn't strain, before Lennon finally saw his grandpa.
His sweet little brown eyes lit up and a slight smile appeared on his face when he saw Terry. He also made a happy sound and was starting to reach out for him.
"Paw'Paw!" he cheered, his right arm tightly clutching onto Professor Knight's arm.
Terry chuckled and reached out for him as Devon handed him to his grandfather.
"Paw'Paw!" he screamed as he leaned in closer to his elder.
"Oh, there's my little Lenny," he teased with a slight stomach tickle. Lennon laughed and made another happy noise making Terry chuckle and kiss his forehead.
Devon was just moved by their interaction.
"Thank you for watching him for us," she said.
"Of course. He's my grandson and I love spending time with him," he insisted before he took the bags from Quinn. "Now, I'll be out of your hair. Enjoy the meal and please try to get along with my ex-wife."
"We will. Thank you, Terry."
"Wait a minute," Quinn said. "Dad, why do you smell like lavender?"
"I do?"
"Don't play dumb, Dad. Are you seeing someone?"
He froze when Quinn asked him that. He didn't even notice that he smelled like your body wash.
"No, I ran out of body wash so I had to use some of your mother's she left behind," he carefully lied. "And to answer your other question, I'm happily single."
"Happily single, my ass," Quinn scoffed. "You are seeing someone. Mom never liked lavender..."
"Quinn!" Devon barked. "That's enough. We have a dinner to get to and we're about to be late."
"What I can't ask my dad about his girlfriend?"
"I'm sorry, Terry. His medicine didn't kick in yet."
"It's alright. I'll see myself out," he said before he walked out the front door with Lennon in tow.
He left their house before they did and was speeding to return to you. But he still remembered he was on Paw'Paw duty.
So he started to play a Sesame Street CD he bought for when he had his grandson with him. He memorized every song since he heard the music a million times now.
But it didn't get old for him since he liked singing the songs to Lennon. And in turn, Lennon would always try to clap his little hands and sing along.
Terry loved when he was interactive like that, because he could always see the pure joy in his blushed cheeks. And that always warmed his heart.

This chapter is also gonna have some meta-humor. 😏 So I promise it'll be worth the wait. 😉
