One Week Later

Eyyyy first fic of the blog! This is a super tame oneshots I wrote for a mob!AU, which I’ll write a summary about in another post if I remember lmao. Tldr, mob boss Whumper has kidnapped Charlie, Terry’s bf, for ransom, in order to force Terry to join them. Terry isn’t taking it well.

(Btw, whenever I use German, I’ll put the translations at the very end of the fic!)

Terry was absolutely not freaking the fuck out right now.

…Maybe if he said it enough times it would come true.

In reality, Terry was trying his best not to completely break down. The past couple days, he had come to and from work, trying his best to act normal. But at this point, he was sure everyone noticed how… frazzled he looked. But he was still doing his job as efficiently as ever, so nobody was bringing it up.

In reality, though, Terry had been trying his best to not fall apart over this past week. Obviously, the only person he could talk about this… situation with was Rose, but he had been hesitant to let her know how genuinely panicked he was feeling. While he was at work, he needed to stay professional.

“Belosim, any updates on where he is?”

“No sir.”

“…Seriously? No leads at all?”

“No, Mr. Redovir, sir.”

“Belosim, it’s been a week. How do you guys have nothing?”

“Mr. Redovir, there’s only so much we can do.” He had known Rose for years now, and he could detect her calm voice starting to grow strained. Shit, he was starting to piss her off.

Alright, time to backtrack. “…Okay. Obviously, I’m asking too much of you all. Sorry.”

“Apology accepted, sir.”

Terry slumped back into his chair, trying his best to hold back frustrated tears. “…I don’t know what else to do, Rose.” Okay, the professional act was getting incredibly hard to keep up now, so he just decided to drop it. The pair were on a first name basis in private anyways. “Got any ideas?”

Rose hesitated for a second. Never good. “Well… there’s always the option of just… accepting the offer.”

Terry’s shot right back up in his seat at that. He turned to Rose, unable to hide how incredulous he was at the suggestion. “…Machst du Witze?”

“No, Terry, I’m not.”

“Rose, you know damn well I’m not going to give in that easily!“ He could hear himself starting to get angry, but he didn’t care right now. The thought of allowing those cowards to get away with pressuring him into “becoming allies” was enough to make him want to break something.

Rose, of course, wasn’t phased by his rapidly fouling mood. “Oh yeah? And what, exactly, are you planning on doing against the Whumper family?”

“Ich weiß nicht! But I’m not going to just roll over and let them force me to join them!”

“Even with Charlie’s life on the line?”

Terry felt his blood run cold at that warning. “…They wouldn’t dare. If they kill Charlie, they won’t have anything to hold over my head.”

Rose, obviously, didn’t believe him for a second. “…Terry. You and I both know that if Charlie got killed because of this, you would be so distraught that you’d let them take over without a fight.”

Fuck, she was right. The mere thought of his stubbornness leading to his Leibling’s death was making him tear up all over again. “…That Scheißkerl. If- when- you find them, I’m going to kill them with my bare hands. I swear it.”

Rose didn’t respond for a few seconds. “…Just think it over, Terry. I know that allying with them sounds insane right now, but every day we can find out is another day those assholes get to keep Charlie captive. And if what I know about Whumper is accurate, there’s no way Charlie is coming out of it unscathed. But right now, your decision is the difference between him coming back scarred, or coming back at all.”

For a few seconds, Terry was speechless. Because to his absolute horror, Rose was right.

Terry felt sick. “…Dismissed. I need to… think about some stuff right now.”

“Understood. Have a nice evening, Mr. Redovir.”

“I won’t, but thanks.”

“Liebling” = “Darling” (in this context, but basically any )

“Scheißkerl” = loosely translates to “shithead”, but literally translates to “shit fellow”, which I think is much funnier

Terry Redovir (Whumpee)

Usually the boss of whatever AU is happening. And because of this, he’s the definition of “cocky showoff”.

However, he softens up when it comes to anything having to do with his boyfriend, Charlie.

Can and will risk everything to keep him safe, including agreeing to more… unsavory demands. Do with that what you will ;)

Basically, threaten him with Charlie’s safety and you have an obedient whumpee.

Charlie Gratfin (Main Whumpee)

Edgey Twink™️

An gun wielding asshole who struggles to make friends, and constantly pretends that he doesn’t want any.

Only really opens up with Terry, because… boyfriends.

Unlike Terry, Charlie will put up a fight, no matter what. He’s been through some shit, and can take a beating. So the best way to break him is mentally. Manipulation, brainwashing, traumatic association, etc. Go nuts.

Rose Belosim (Whumper)

From the outside, she’s always calm and rational, and nothing seems to bother her. In reality, she is always this close to snapping from constantly keeping all of her emotions in.

Despite her friendly appearance, if you get on her shit list, it’s incredibly hard to get off of it.

She’ll go out of her way to destroy you and your life, and still keep her calm smile as she does so.

With all of that said, she’s more of a reluctant whumper most of the time. But when you do push her, she won’t hesitate to destroy you.

Steven Scriptor (Whumpee)

…I apparently really like beating up twinks.

Steven is a journalist, who’s dedicated to getting the story. No matter what.

If your OC has a secret, you can bet he’s going to be a nosy fucker and try to find it.

But, again, twink. So not exactly hard to find him and… “convince” him to leave.

- However, Steven is incredibly stubborn. He can take a beating or two if it means he can reveal the truth!

So basically the opposite of Charlie- he’s extremely hard to break mentally, so it’s best to just beat the shit out of him until he gives up.

Adrien Osei (Whumper)

A scientist that usually works for a more powerful whumper.

Also my go-to OC for lab and experiment whump if I want a whumper.

Incredibly nice, almost to the point of come off naïve. But as soon as he has his victim where he wants them, he turns from “UwU babey friend” to “cold, professional, and unflinching scientist”.

He’s here to do a job, and nothing is going to stop him from doing it. Which means he gets incredibly frustrated with defiant whumpees very quickly. Do with that information what you will.

Abigail Teaken (Whumpee)

An immortal creature, who’s usually been created by a scientist whumper.

In all honesty, she’s already broken. Ever since she was born, she had undergone challenges and experiments by scientist whumper test her immortality.

And after years and years of constantly being killed, she’s just a shell of a person, dreading the next time whumper walks into the room with a new experiment.

… Okay I’ll be honest, I mostly use her if I want a pathetic OC to kick while they’re down. Join me in kicking.

Solomon ??? (Main Whumper)

Solomon is, to put it bluntly, a psychopath. For the day he was born, he never gave a shit about anyone around him other than himself

Everyone around him are just playthings for him to toy with. Most of them are boring, but he still keeps them around as a friend. It makes him look good to has so many friends, after all.

However, once in a while, he’ll find someone special. And when he does, he’ll decide then and there to make them his new “pet”.

He’ll get close to whumpee, slowly getting them to lower their guard around him, quickly becoming their “best friend”, or even their “SO” if he can stomach it.

But as soon as he feels he’s close enough to his victim, he’ll convince them to “come over to his place sometime!”.

And if they except his offer, it’s basically over for whumpee.

If you’re lucky, Solomon will continue to let them live their life “normally”. They’ll still be forced to obey him, of course, but they should be thankful he’s even letting them see other people.

If whumpee is unlucky, however, he’ll take the whole “pet” thing literally. Because pet whump is best whump.

Hunter Tinton (Whumpee)

Alright, let’s just cut to the chase. I know I’m just a whump OC.

And before I say anything else… do you have any idea how it feels? How it feels to look at your friends and the world around you, knowing that none of it is real?

How it feels to have to keep all of that knowledge to yourself, because you already know that nobody will ever believe you?

How it feels to know that you were just created to be placed in scenario after scenario, “AU” after “AU”, just to be tortured half to death in whatever new, creative ways DE or you all have thought up?

Because that’s what you sick fucks want to see, isn’t it? You just want to see me suffer. It’s why I was created, after all. And there’s jack shit I can do to fight back.

…As you can see, I’m not exactly… stable. Which is why I’m a whumpee, I suppose.

But don’t think it’ll be easy to break me. Multiple fits of rage-induced self mutilation have left me basically immune to pain. So if you really want to whump me that badly, go the mental torture route.
