J’avais prévu de récupérer mon fusil à mon point de dépôt peu après, mais ce côté de la ville a été bouclé. C’est calme, presque possible de sortir, mais il reste un véhicule.

J’en avais assez de sa haine. Certaines haines ne peuvent pas se négocier.

Si je peux reprendre mon fusil sans être vu, je n’aurai laissé aucune preuve. Je vais essayer de le récupérer, avec un peu de chance ils sont passés à autre chose. Je n’ai rien vu qui montre qu’ils l’ont trouvé.

Un peu plus d’une semaine je crois. Je peux m’en approcher mais il y a une voiture de police garée juste à côté.

Je pense qu’ils ont déjà fouillé l’endroit, mais je veux pas prendre le risque.

J’aurais aimé revenir en arrière et l’avoir récupéré dès que j’ai atteint mon véhicule.

Je m’inquiète de ce que mon vieux ferait si je ne ramenais pas le fusil de grand-père… Je ne sais même pas s’il avait un numéro de série, mais il ne pourrait pas être relié à moi.

Je crains pour les empreintes : j’ai dû le laisser dans un buisson quand j’ai changé de fringues. Je n’avais pas la possibilité ni le temps de l’emporter.

Je pourrais devoir l’abandonner et espérer qu’ils ne trouvent pas d’empreintes. Comment je vais expliquer ça à mon vieux…

A head rolls at Leicester - but not the manager's

The internal tensions at the Premier League's bottom club have finally forced the owners to wield the axe. However, where many had expected manager Nigel Pearson to be sacked from Leicester City, instead it is Terry Robinson, the director of football, whose services are no longer required. Robinson was recruited in the summer of 2013 in the wake of the dismal end to the previous campaign. His brief was to strengthen the squad while at the same time preparing the club for the impact of financial fair play rules. This was a particularly demanding challenge, but the former Stoke man rose to it superbly, playing a key role in the arrival of Marcin Wasilewski, Dean Hammond and Gary Taylor-Fletcher at Filbert Way. All three players added experience, steel and depth to a squad which took the Championship by storm, clinching promotion and the league title with games to spare. In addition, last winter's recruitment of Riyad Mahrez, who emerged from French lower-league obscurity into a key member of the Algeria national team in a matter of moths, was also seen as a feather in Robinson's cap. But his record of success was not maintained in the most recent transfer window. Several signings made during the summer, including defender Matthew Upson and Welsh international winger Tom Lawrence, have yet to start a game for the club, while others, such as Danny Simpson and Marc Albrighton have struggled to make an impact. Even the most high-profile recruits, Argentine duo Leonardo Ulloa and Esteban Cambiasso, have had difficulties in integrating with the rest of the team. It was clear to many fans that Pearson no longer had faith in Robinson's judgement, and the domestic instability had contributed to the recent string of poor results. With the transfer market reopening in less than three weeks, the owners have now acted to resolve this damaging conflict. Pearson will now have the final say on future signings and the responsibility for their success (or otherwise) will be his alone. The buck now stops with him, as it should have done all along. But only time will tell whether this move has come in time to rescue Leicester's car-crash of a season.
