Captains Log: Day 11

You know how places look so awesome on the Internet and you have this idea in your head of what it's going to look like? That's Terry Bison Ranch. Instead of the Cowboys and long sunsets we got a cheesy roadside stop. Don't get me wrong the kids loved it. I imagine it to be a #bkpwe in a cowboy, westerny, sorta way. We enjoyed feeding the bison and coming back with slobbery hands and the food (after washing our hands)...gosh the food was awesome! We listened to open mic night while we ate. A guy with an acoustic put a southern twist on some Rolling Stones hits which I found to be totally up my alley in a weird country sorta way. Sympathy for the Devil with a country twist? Now that's worthy of a roadside stop any day. Today we head to Kansas...all I keep seeing in my head is tornados. Let's hope not.
