I was able to find a reasonably priced copy of this hard cover bound book of reprints of the first Dr Strange comics. Originally from ‘63–‘66, so just to get this out of the way, there’s a lot of “exoticism” when it comes to the handling of Asian cultures throughout these stories. There is no way to get around it – they are very much of their time in that regard. All that said, I wanted to share the wild Dalí-esque artwork throughout these issues. It starts fairly early, but the settings get really wild & fairly intricate for these small frames really after just the first year.
