'i love a giraffe' Danny says as he's literally looking up to Steve because there's an almost whole foot of height difference 😂
Lmao Steve's got a good 8/9 inches on him and Danny is just staring up at him with them big ol' eyes.

pls your THOUGHTS on that body language (and the loafers too, my only association is they bury people in white shoes? Idk what else lol)
The loafers are just gay. Look that for them.
The Body Language thoughts are exclusively re: Trans Danno tbh, because I've been sitting around stewing in that, since I'm trying to finish the next bit.
Basically most tips on subtle ways to look/act/seem more masculine for trans men/masc people explicitly state not to cross your legs while sitting. It's one of those Manly 101 things, like talking loudly, and getting a short haircut.
And idk idk idk it makes me think of all of the weird little habits that Danny's drilled into himself from a young age. He put a lot of time and a lot of effort into making sure he doesn't get clocked by a stranger. And I like the idea of him dropping or falling out of those habits as he gets older, because he's reached that point in his transition where he's generally more comfortable with himself, and also more comfortable with the people he's around. So he doesn't think twice about 'breaking' one of those rules.
And then you've got Steve, who just sits like dude taking up too much room on the bus, oblivious to the fact that we can all see how his thighs fit into those pants.
dying over you calling manul/pallas' cat the Danny Williams of the Cat world, that's so perfect! They are also covered in blonde fur and have disproportionately short legs, look very cuddly but are actually the personification of *fight me*
oh my god, I can't believe I didn't even consider the blonde fur or the tiny legs. I just saw the second-last gif and went 'i know that face. I've seen that face before. on My Blorbo Daniel'. my mother always calls him a bantam rooster but I think we have a strong alternative contender here
@teruel-a-witch is always a great time to chat with, especially for the McDanno fix!
This started with me being like “I think about your posts a lot. And it lead to me thinking about all the times canonly that the guys have walked in and saw the other naked”. You don’t have to think too far with their habits and schedules....and just how much they ‘dig each other’ ;)
But this was something that I think deserves to be enjoyed by as many as possible xD
Something you can’t deny probably happened with the core four in earlier seasons
lol can you believe poppy got drunk and cried about ian not texting her back, how does this show not want me to read into their relationship 😂 (when I saw a gifset of her drunk before watching the episode I was like 'wait...did she get a boyfriend?' but it's just her *partner*) (also 'i spent every waking moment of the last ten years with him' wow)
I KNOW RIGHT!! I have so many thoughts about this, I don't know where to start.
This episode was interesting, because it felt like a filler and focused on dynamics we usually don't see a lot of, but it also provided a much needed insight into the characters, and especially into Poppy, Rachel and Jo.
And when it comes to Poppy, lol, I think we can agree it's all about Ian, all the time. They are not just friends or co-workers or partners, it's more than that. They are EVERYTHING to each other. And I can't see it as just a platonic co-dependency. Back in s01, we had the hug™ during the pandemic episode, which was as intimate as a kiss, and then in s02 we had Poppy's sex dream and both referring to each other as married and putting their partnership before everything else, and now in s03 we have Ian trying to be the best partner he can be and Poppy being upset because Ian is not texting her back - not because it's something urgent, but because he is the only person she wants to congratulate her and celebrate with. How can we not think of each as romantic??? If the show wants us to see them as just friends, it's doing a really bad job.
Hey hi how are you doing are you even alive after this episode????
Okay but can we talk about the fact that Tim refused a drink after he already agreed to come in HE WANTED TO BE CLEAR HEADED FOR WHATEVER MIGHT HAVE HAPPENED NEXT he really went in with NO pre-prepared excuses, he's so far gone he's willing to take whatever she wants to give him at any conditions she chooses even if it kills him later if she pretends it stayed undercover. He JUMPED on that lifeline like ahsjd (also the fact that he walked her home and shyly complimented her hairdo she makes him act like schoolboy with a crush :'))
(ps. FUNNIEST moment 'Im alone in a hotel room with Lucy' - OH-OH' snsdb Angela never misses)
(what an episode huh *thud*)
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HOW ARE YOU FEELING HOW ARE YOU DOING I AM AHH FOREVER
listen i am NOT ALIVE, it's been two days and i still have not recovered even just sleep wise...i doubt i will fully recover ever, tbh.
it was just SO good. they managed to both give me everything i wanted AND surprise me in a few key areas...just. so wonderful, so incredible, i don't know what they're going to do and i am so excited to find out. like. he walked her to her door. he checked in with her every step of the way. she is usually the one who talks out and processes and he tried to EMULATE THAT with her for himself???
every single bit with angela being like a smirky little demon was SO good. all of it! all of it was amazing. i am genuinely impressed...their cards are very much on the table and i am buzzin just imagining how this could go 😵💫
thanks for checking, friend (and this is also checking if I can send asks) (weirdly if I go on your blog I can see the send messages option but idk if I can actually send them)
I did get an email that you sent me an ask, but it didin't show in my inbox on mobile (apple). Apparently, it's visible on desktop.
Since Apple's got this whole sensitive content thing started in the first place, it might indeed be that you've been flagged for adult content? Maybe it's got to do with the post you reblogged from me a few days ago, the one that got flagged? (Am I to be banned next?)
I can imagine how super annoying this must be for you and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you'll get this sorted out soon!
(Also I did send you a message--or tried to--because you're still showing up in my messenger contacts.)
considering Danny was definitely a bad cook in s1-2 judging by the whole eggs/fritatta incidents but learned by the time his mum came for a visit in 4x15, Steve must have been his Guinea pig for that entire time, who had to try his cooking before he got good at it. Steve eating Danny's food even when it sucked = true love xD (but because after the whole Rachel reveal Steve stopped doing that thing where you pretend your crush's cooking is great even if it's not, Danny never realised)
('you love my eggs' proves that Steve must have been exaggerating Danny's cooking ability before cause he was hoping to get with him ;))
That frittata scene was so funny! At the beginning I found it a little annoying that they kind of retconned Danny's cooking skills (or lack thereof) tbh. But now I think the cooking fits Danny quite well, being the family person he is.
I LOVE your take on Steve being his guinea pig while he was learning, lol! Steve and Grace both, probably. Grace wouldn't have had much of a choice but yes, Steve would have put up with it just to spend time with Danny (and Grace) and to indulge him. The things you do out of love!
