Kyung Ho Kang chokes out Teruto Ishihara in the first!

One hell of a one rounder between Kang and Ishihara.

Kang got over aggressive early and dropped by Ishihara but managed to recover to rock Ishihara back along the fence. In the middle part of the first round Kang and Ishihara went straight rock’em sock’em robots. From there Kang secures the TD, gets the back and gets the RNC.

Teruto Ishihara takes UD over Dy.

Surviving three nasty low blows, Ishara takes a close decision on the cards. Dropped Dy with a nice left hand off of a spinning attack from Dy in the first and closed the round out with big GNP from the top. The last two rounds were a mix of Dy finding his footing and timing, and continually kicking Ishihara in the balls. Ends up getting a point taken away that cost him a draw. Ishihara stops the main card skid for Japan.

Gray Maynard vs Teruto Ishihara kicking off TUF 25 Finale

Stann mentioned that Maynard spent a significant amount of his camp at the new UFC performance center. Didn’t help Josh Stansbury a couple weeks ago but we’ll see. Wish we had a way to keep track of how the people training there are doing.
