On Thursday 5 June 2014, Luc in our Production team was sent down to St Pancras to welcome Her Majesty The Queen, accompanied by His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh. The HRH unveiled a plaque at St Pancras International station to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the opening of the Channel Tunnel and the launch of international high speed rail services between the UK and mainland Europe.
Dan and Leon are in Monte Carlo this week. No, not just for a holiday but for client EY to launch World Entrepreneur Of The Year Award 2014, the world’s most prestigious business award recognising the accomplishments of entrepreneurs around the World. With delegates from 51 countries, the launch saw two full days of interviews and SMTs live from Monaco to the World ahead of the big announcement.
Yesterday TVC launched Online Field Trips which have been created by Tesco working closely with teachers and using Google+ technology, as part of the retailer’s Eat Happy Project. The Online Field Trips have been launched as new research is published showing that a cheaper way of giving children access to overseas field trips would be of huge benefit to parents, children and teachers. Future trips will see children connect with suppliers including rice growers in India, cheese farmers in Yorkshire and strawberry farms in Kent.
Saturday night was the big rematch between Froch vs Groves. Carl Froch retained his IBF and WBA super-middleweight titles by knocking out contender George Groves in the eighth round of a thrilling night for British Boxing. TVC were on board for main sponsor and client, Betway. Lee had a lovely time meeting some the one and only Prince Naseem Hamed and some other surprise guests…
