93 (do you believe in destiny?): good god, that’s a heavy one. i don’t know. i don’t believe that everything happens for a reason, but i do believe that if it’s meant to be, it’ll find its way to you. i think life is made up of choices, split-second decisions every single moment, and that there can’t possibly be one set path for the future — but, i do like to think that fate guides us all, even if i don’t believe that it dictates us.

My professor recognised my Daggerfall shirt the other day??

I went up to ask a question during the break and he went, “The Elder Scrolls?” and I was like, “yeah haha,” and he went, “Daggerfall is before my time, but I played Morrowind to Skyrim.”

So I told him I had played Arena also! But that it was very grind-y. And that I had edited the character file so I didn’t have to spend two months building up XP to play the storyline. He commiserated about games like that and mentioned how Dragon Age: Inquisition is also a big time commitment.

I let him know Arena and Daggerfall are free on steam if he wants to give them a try too!

Tbh I wear the Daggerfall shirt whenever I wanna be comfy because it’s both physically comfortable (soft) and emotionally comfortable (special interest). But u never expected anybody to actually comment on it! Literally the highlight of my day I was so happy :]

Cosa non si fa per non lavorare alla tesi (sto sbrinando il freezer)

Sto scrivendo una tesi che è contraria all'idea del mio relatore, perciò per sostenere quello che voglio dire, sto confrontando testi latini, greci, ebraici, traduzioni italiane nel corso del tempo...sto facendo un lavorone. Per scrivere e motivare ogni riga di questo capitolo, facendo tutti questi controlli incrociati, sto impiegando ore. Ma, posso dire, se non fosse per il fatto che 'sta tesi del cavolo va consegnata entro dei tempi ben precisi, e se non fosse per il terrore che il professore dica: "No, non sono affatto d'accordo: riscriva tutto daccapo", questo lavoro sarebbe il massimo divertimento, sì, ho proprio scritto DIVERTIMENTO, perché questa ricerca storica, teologica e linguistica mi accende veramente.
