I think. I am forgetting some of my lore building. I think I lost some of my lore.... Adding some aspects to Limsa Lominsa namely lighthouse keeping clans. I dropped the '-wyn' (daughter) and '-syn', (son) suffixes mostly. Roegazoen also includes '-dyn' (person/people) so I surmised '-kyn' (clan, kin) could also exist. and those are clan names.

Fyrtarnkyn (Fire Tower Kin) - Sirius & Polaris

Folgwardkyn (Bird Watch Kin) (keepers of Gull, Crane & Swift towers)

there was a third one... Gohtoeyakyn (God Eye?) i feel like I just made that up.

Greek shows up several times in not-Ancient times but in Tessellation the Ancient world is the backstory of (some?) of Etheirys' gods and isn't important to the plot so I'm treating Greek (needs an in-universe name... Amaroutine? it's probably called heirologos - sacred words - now) as a liturgical language (this is because I am not immune to love of Greek words and I want to use them more often). So Pharos is in hierologos because lighthouses are sacred to Lominsans. 'Fyrtarn' or 'fire tower' is Roegazoen for Lighthouse.

Approps of nothing, I decide that Imma give my male viera longer names like three or four syllables instead of the femmes' one or two - mainly because it's not like many people would actually be addressing them by it often so there's no need to be efficient.

That being said I decided a wood-warder leaves the wood because he's pursuing a troop of imperials who have one of his village people and he can't pull off a rescue without death/grave injury so he gets captured with her instead. They escape eventually but they don't make it back to the forest.

His name is Vhessunav and her name is Qestra (or Priska?) - they're from Hyskaris Village, a Ravaa town. (Hyskaris being their last name but they don’t share it with non-Viera. maybe they share it with their eventually found-family/teammates). They don’t take city names because they didn’t choose to leave the wood - they were stolen. (Well, Vhessunav sort of choose but that was out of duty to a person who didn’t chose to leave)
