Meet The Sandwich Artist!
She quit working at Subway™ before the FreshNow™ update hit her store. “Enough is enough,” The Sandwich Artist said to herself before taking two large, veggie cutting knives from the backroom. “Why are you taking those knives, The Sandwich Artist?” Her boss, Tim, asked. The Sandwich Artist paused for a moment, and let out a quiet, “Heh.” before turning around to face Tim. “Everyone deserves Sub of the Day, Tim. Sub of the Day should be for ALL locations, not just PARTICIPATING locations! Everyone deserves justice, Tim. Justice.” “But what do you mean?” Tim asked, absolutely befuddled by what was happening before him. His star employee, quitting to fight crime against Corporate™. The Sandwich Artist went on to tell her boss, Tim, about how high sandwich prices reflects directly to Subway™ sandwich prices. Thus, Subway™ created the Skuls.
Tim didn’t know what to say, or if he should perhaps call the police. Maybe an asylum; surely his star pupil had gone crazy! Tim finished the rest of his shift completely distracted. He couldn’t stop thinking about what The Sandwich Artist went on about. Crazy. She just wanted to make a scene before she quit!
Tim started to walk to his car after he locked up the shop for the night. “I can’t believe we didn’t get our delivery today. I’m going to have to email them in the morn--” Tim got ran over by the - three hour late truck, mind you - delivery truck.
Tim now works a cushy, 9-5 job at Subway HQ™ as compensation for the accident. Tim decides what promotions happen and which store take part of those promotions. He also decides who doesn’t. Tim knows all stores could do the promotions, after all they are all Subway™ franchises! But, why would Tim give the customers ease and simplicity? Why would he make it easier for the employees? Justice.
Tim wanted that delivery truck driver to suffer for running him over. Now every store that that driver visits? “I’m sorry sir, we don’t participate in the Sub of the Day™ program at this location.”
Thinking back on all this, The Sandwich Artist realized her true fear! Tim, her old boss, was her true nemesis all along! It took her a long time to realize this, or perhaps she knew all along. Maybe she was in denial that her once-mentor was now and Evil™ mastermind. Or maybe, it was bigger and broader than that. Maybe Tim was just a pawn for a greater evil.
The Sandwich Artist gasped; Subway™ HQ is the real villain in Paragon City. Paragon City must be freed from the absurd rules from Subway™ HQ!
Long live the Sandwich™ resistance.
Miul Gameplay - KR test server
Aion 5.8 - 결전의 땅 (Land of Battle)
If this is what people were waiting for, it’s finally here. Aion 5.8 has hit the KTS today with a bunch of new but yet overly predictable content updates.
The main aspect of this patch rides upon the return of Divine Fortress, which will be available for sieging once again, as well as the reopening of it’s instances; which are now completely different, and yes, instance(s).
There aren’t a lot of screenshots released at the moment, so bear with me. I’ll break down the patch notes into various posts so as not to overwhelm.
P.S - Magic Boost cap is finally increased
Starting today, join us in the craziest of crazy test environments, the Wonderholme server. This new server is open for character creation and play for a limited time, and is designed not only for us to test improvements in server configuration and load balancing, but also some of our more…interesting game play concepts.
Veteran TERA players may remember our surrealistically formagined dungeon of Wonderholme. The whimsories of that magical place spawned hundreds of hours of fun, so when we began our plans for a new test server, no other name would do!
The Wonderholme server features superfast leveling, massively increased reputation awards and enchanting chances (up to +12), reimagined loot tables for all levels of dungeons, triple dungeon drops and more.
But be warned—this is a temporary server, and will be wiped at least once in the next few weeks. There will be no server transfers to or from Wonderholme, and if you buy anything from the TERA Store for Wonderholme characters, there will be no refunds issued. Also, there will be no customer support for Wonderholme-specific issues, so get ready for a wild ride!
