I wish the Runemark fandom was active enough to warrant a Discord server...
I really want to make that server.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, and watch me rip out your spine with my bare hands and use it as a skipping-rope.
Loki, The Testament of Loki by Joanne Harris
And it's freaking awesome.
My lads my folk my good good folk,
I am looking to get HYPED for Testament of Loki; it’s due out on May the 17th though I still have to organise with my local bookshop a pre-order if I can even afford that right now (sidebar: if you can support your local bookstore instead of purchasing online! I know it’s usually about $5-$10 more expensive but consider it book tax to keep bookstores around because let’s be real, the world would really suck without bookstores, and let’s be realler, when a bookstore closes a fairy dies).
We’re a slow-moving and pretty small fandom and we’re spread over the world so the book may be releasing at different dates depending on translation and country. If you see this post leave a comment below or a letter in my inbox to note when you can afford to/plan to/are physically and legally able to get your hands on Testament of Loki, and maybe we’ll organise some sort of Runemarks month for fanart and fanfic and fanknitting! I’ve always wanted to get us involved with some sort of materal-generating prompt-based malarkey, especially seeing as we’re lucky to have some great artists, but unlucky in that the characters listed in the Runebooks outnumber the amount of fanfics we have.
Any takers?

My dog (not just any dog, mind you, but a cairnterrier) is awesome and beyond (like most cairnterriers are it seems). We have been together at our summercottage for a week now just the two of us. It's about 9.30.pm. She has made a routine for us already.
I tried to write some fanfiction (by hand, there is no electrisity here) but she demanded politely that I lay on the sofa to read so she can nap at my feet.
Fine. She is a wise dog. Much wiser than I. So before I'll be writing all night I'll take a Wolverine comic in my hand and start to read. I do thirst for another glass of red wine... should I just...
Oh, she is licking at my feet. It feels nice. Awww... 20 seconds of heaven... 💚
By the way,
I finished the Testament of Loki by Joanne Harris today and... shoot me, I didn't get it. There was no point in that story and frankly it made no sense. So many loop holes it would take more than this post to bring them all out... So shoot me, I won't.
The book could be good for a drinking game though. Drink everytime Loki says "so shoot me". It might be less annoying that way.
In someway I did enjoy the Gospel of Loki... though not the end after the Snakey... which was really the part in which she used her own imagination and not the old norse myths... haha...
But I do love Chocolate... the book, the movie and the actual stuff of dreams.
Truly Neil Gaiman and his Norse Mythology did more honor to Loki by just giving him these words spoken in dispair by his scarred mouth (somewhat as I am using my finnish translation): "No. Don't hurt them. They've done nothing wrong."
Here. Loki feels love for his sons and Sigyn. They are his weakness, his only weakness really, as they should be. Thank you Neil! And for what you've put in Loki's mouth about Sigyn Joanne... I forgive thee, I just don't like it. Over all you are a wonderful writer. Loki's flying boots just were too big.
But DAMN you Mike for pooping out crap like the Loki series. Damn you!
Oh my Loki, there's a Koskelo (Mergus merganser) and five little chicklets swimming in the lake so near us...
J.M.H's Loki: So shoot me.
Loki: With what? Bow and arrow? There weren't any guns where we come from. Where did you learn such an expression. And why, oh why for my sake, are you using it ALL THE TIME?
J.M.H's Loki: You don't like it. So shoot me.
Loki: Thor! Hit him for me!
Captain Morgan: Arrr... Thundererrrr be riding but... May I suggest an alternative. I have beaut of a cannon.
My copy of Testament of Loki just arrived and
I’m so excited
ANYTHING THAT CAN BE DREAMED IS TRUE
Godsdamnit
Umm... Okay, this is a work in progress, but in light of the fact that there just isn’t enough Runemarks stuff around to satisfy my greedy, frequently resurfacing affections (is that a thing? It sounds like a thing), I’ve written a thing. Graciously accept my gift to humanity and magnanimous contribution to the literary world. Here I present the first Part of the “Godsdamnit Loki” series, which is a poorly thought out name but I am excited and cannot think about something better. Also, I am waiting for payday to buy the Testament of Loki, the thing I have been, as a mentally healthy adult, salivating and drooling (yes, I realize it is the same thing but will use both words anyway) and violently wishing about (including and not limited to voodoo ceremonies to aid Joanne Harris in this endeavour and also many other unspeakable things), so I must somehow calm the raging wave of fangirling inside me through poorly thought out ideas.
Thank you for your attention and I hope you don’t fall over yourselves to read the incoming piece of art.
Peace out, Getsu-Chan AllMighty.
