You know, there's an intrinsic beauty to a freshly refined darkstone crystal. How it changes from its most raw form, muddy dark, wild and unstable, to a perfect tetrahedron, sharp, radiant, useful, and a near perfect sky-blue.

It always drew me in, hence why I dedicated myself to learning all I could about, from its properties to how it could be used as a power source, opening a brand new realm of possibilities for engineers and architects like myself.
