Oh crap!
There's a face he wasn't truly wishing to see right now. Figures she would come whenever food was being mentioned. C'mon it's not like I owe her anymore! I mean . . . why does she seriously have to empty my paycheck every week . . . , thought the magician. Ever since the case was resolved, it seems the carnivore's habits of mooching off of him never died. For some reason, she was being a little nice about it and actually wishing to get grilled steak from Junes. Okay -- that made him even more suspicious. Wasn't like the spunky dragon to act like this so suddenly. Unless it has something to do with their partner visiting, he seriously doubt she had a change of heart. Whatever the case, the magician was grasping hold of his wallet from his pockets. He already expected for her loud mouth to come at any moment and say -- . . .
"L-Look Satonaka, this isn't what it looks like. I'll buy you whatever steak you want some other time! Just pleaase have mercy on my check this week. I seriously need to save up for -- . . . wait huh?" She wasn't . . . asking for steak? Dude -- something was wrong with her . . . TERRIBLY WRONG.
It truly wasn't like her to be coming up to him for a normal request, unless it was during exams and she wanted to borrow his notes. But this week wasn't even for studying so . . . what did she want? I seriously doubt she's looking for a date or something . . . Satonaka isn't the type to be interested in that stuff . . . all she cares about is her steak . . . oh and Amagi-san , thought the magician. It didn't matter to him, honestly, since she looks like she can handle herself. "Uh . . . yo! So . . . what do you want, Satonaka? Did something happen?" As much as he dreads her habits of ripping away his hard earned check, the Magician knew when to be considerate of his friends.
