Your character is visiting the grave of someone they miss
dearly. How do they feel? How do they act? What is going
through their mind?
endless routine of visiting her grave . . . how long had this been happening? Ever since her unfortunate death, the magician made a secret commitment to venture out to the location of her grave. Why? Simple -- the boy was fulfilling a promise he made to his partner as well as to her . . . even if the truth was out, he'll live the most for both their sake. This girl was dear to him and perhaps the first girl who earned his affections. The feelings weren't mutual, according to the female, and yet the boy was a hopeless guy. A guy who simply cared for this girl too much to let her go fully. Within his heart, he knew there couldn't be anyone who could level up to her. Or so he always attempted to persuade himself. Matters aside, this girl was weak . . . someone he wanted to protect but failed on that day. Her corpse hanged from a pole with no traces of any physical damage being done to her. Those vacant eyes and no heartbeat were enough to reach the verdict of her death.
The first time I laid eyes on you . . . I saw you as being a cute female . . . I never expected to fall madly in love with you . . . but . . . , amber hues stared at the road with anticipation. Fingers grasped hold of the bouquet of roses as he reached the destination. Here on the grave had the following words written on it:
H e r e lies the body of SAKI KONISHI
Rest in Peace
A couple of bouquet of roses were resting against her grave. It must have been from one of her friends or her relatives. Without a doubt, it must have been her younger brother -- they finally reached a point to becoming friends rather than the boy suddenly resent the magician. In a sense, he should. If only they had been capable of obtaining their Personas sooner, if only there was a possible chance of saving her . . . he rather that humiliating truth come out of her mouth. But it didn't . . . "Haha . . . he was a real pain in the ass, huh? I wonder if that's what you're truly thinking of me right now . . . Saki-senpai."
Despite the harsh tone, a saddened smile spread on his lips to gaze over her grave. This almost felt like one of those dates where the man makes a commitment to visiting his lost girlfriend. They weren't a couple but the magician simply held her as an important girl in his life. Fingers glided over the grave, contemplating a few things. A majority of it was cast away by the many tears which streamed down. Few droplets fell down on the grave, tainting her with his presence. " . . . W-Why did she have to die?! If only . . . if only I could have given that DAMN BASTARD more, then I . . . I knew something was wrong and yet . . . I just sat there and watched you writhe in pain."
The Midnight Channel . . . a perfect window that displayed the many Shadows which attacked Saki-senpai . . . eventually killing her off. She disappeared when she died from the screen and everything went blur. The magician spend the night worrying of what he saw and his fears came to life. The news of her death definitely pierced through his chest . . . I remember it as if it were yesterday . . . Saki-senpai . . . I . . . , he couldn't say much but sob in that position. What else could he say? All the things he desired to tell her as well as his confession of love to her . . . even if he would be making himself as a fool and be rejected, she didn't deserve to die in her prime. I remember the first time we spoke . . .
You were a beautiful girl, looked fragile . . . the kind of girl I want to protect with my life . . . but that wasn't the only thing that won me over . . . you said precisely what I wanted to hear . . . we barely met and it felt like you understood me. No one has ever done that to me . . . no matter how many friends I spend time with, you were there . . . and I smiled . . . the night I received your message . . I fell fast asleep. It was the most peaceful night I ever had . . . Saki-senpai . . .
All of it was for naught and the magician knew this . . . she was gone. The realization was painful to admit it as well as the shameful self he carried. Maybe there was that hidden desire of simply using her to get some fun out of this boring town, but . . "My feelings for Saki-senpai . . . they were real. I love her . . . and I know this. But . . . I could never tell you this, especially after I realized what you truly thought of me. It's fine, though . . . " Removing that hand away from the grave, the magician lifted his body up from the ground and began to walk away from the grave. Ashen hues shut themselves as he thought of a few final words for her. Saki-senpai . . . I love you and that's why . . . I'll continue living life and enjoying it . . . for you . . . and for everyone but most of all . . .
