As you know, I live in Texas. I'm also nonbinary. I'm passing, but that doesn't mean the state is still safe for me to live in anymore. I've set up a fund to help me move the hell out. I'm not expecting to work for this for free, though. I'm still working very hard at my day job and have gotten to the point where I'm skipping lunches (I'm still eating, I'm just buying cheaper food and not taking unpaid lunch breaks anymore). I'd like to continue the streaming schedule I have that lets me stream 4 nights per week while still working, but I'm running out of energy and time during the days I work my day job. The ko-fi fund would help me achieve this goal while still working for it. Making content for you and hanging out on stream is not only the high point of my week, it's been the high point of the past year. And that's what I want to do to earn my keep. I just want to be safe while I do so.
I'll likely have to cancel pretty much all of my active subs going forward as well, which I'm feeling so anxious about, because I still want to support my favorite creators and my stream family. The Ko-fi goal has a clearer summary, but I wanted to say something to keep you all in the loop and maintain the transparency that I've tried so hard to keep with you all. I love y'all.
