ICE PICK KILLER Danny Bible Scheduled for Execution 6/27/18
Danny Paul Bible, aka Ice Pick Killer, has been imprisoned since his 1998 confession to murdering a previously unsolved murder from 1979. He was under arrest for another charge. His total number of victims is 4.
His lawyers are citing health reasons as to why a lethal injection is an unethical form of execution and could cause unnecessary complications. They’ve requested execution by firing squad or lethal gas, both methods which are not in use in the state of Texas.
The execution is scheduled for after 6 p.m. CST and can only be delayed up until midnight unless he is granted a stay or postponement.

Marcellus Williams has maintained his innocence for over 30 years. The only evidence tying him to the crime was the testimony of two paid witness. DNA evidence done after his trial excludes him from the suspect pool

Emmanuel Littlejohn was convicted for murder due to his participation the robbery of Kenneth Meyers (the murder victim). The prosecution alleged that he was the one who pulled the trigger in Emmanuel's trial, but claimed it was his co-defendant in the the co-defendant's trial. The co-defendant only received life in prison.
Alan Miller suffered from delusions at the time of his crime, which legally bars him from receiving the death penalty. He also had ineffective assistance from counsel and has already survived one tortuously botched execution attempt

Incentivized testimony (where a witness is rewarded for their statement if the prosecution deems it helpful) is known to increase the risk of wrongful conviction. He claims that he was not directly involved in the murder he was convicted of, saying that he only served as a lookout for what was supposed to be a robbery, and was unaware that his co-defendants had killed Clinton Dobson in the process. Neither of the other two accused were convicted. His sentencing was also influenced by his alleged murder of fellow prison inmate Jonathon Holden, though he was never convicted of it.
